It asked that a report be prepared to document its concern for the client’s health and safety. An officer was subsequently able to reach the client by phone. He was advised that the program would welcome his participation if he changed his mind.

4 p.m. — A trespass warning was issued to a female, 14, after she was caught shoplifting at a store on North Bedford Road. The store did not wish to press criminal charges but requested that the officer prepare a formal trespass order that bars the girl from returning to the business. The teen’s grandmother came to pick her up and was advised that the girl would face arrest if she returned to the business.

The incident was reported by the victim when she came to the Green Street precinct several hours after it occurred. The man was taken into custody at his home, booked at the precinct and released pending a June 12 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court.

1:50 p.m. — An officer on patrol observed that a metal construction plate had shifted on Maple Avenue, causing a hazardous traffic condition. The officer placed a traffic cone in the roadway to alert motorists of the condition. The Mount Kisco Department of Public Works was notified.

5:24 p.m. — An officer responded to a Stewart Place residence after a 911 hang up call was received. The resident reported that he had dialed in error.

11:40 p.m. — Officers responded to Kirby Plaza on a report of an injured man bleeding from a head wound. The man, who was intoxicated, was uncooperative and verbally aggressive with officers. Westchester EMS and the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded to provide medical care. The man was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital for medical and mental health services.

1:10 p.m. — A patrol officer was dispatched back to the Green Street precinct to take a harassment complaint.
