Pleasantville Farmers Market. 10 Memorial Plaza,

variety of fresh greens, meats, dairy items, root crops, apples, prepared foods and more. From 9:30 a.m. to noon.


SUNDAY, NOV. 16

Light Up Katonah. The Chamber of Commerce is asking for volunteers to help decorate the meridians in town. Meet near Peppinos’s at 10:30 a.m.


Poiesis Quartet. Caramoor, 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah; caramoor.org. The 2025-26 Ernst Stiefel String Quartet-in-Residence performs; 3 p.m.


Free Community Spaghetti Dinner. First Congregational Church, 210 Orchard Ridge Road, Chappaqua; fcc-chappaqua.org. Families will receive dinner along with a pop-up pantry to bring home food staples. From 4 to 6 p.m.


Jam Session. Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Road, Katonah; katonahlibrary.org. This all-acoustic jam is designed for musicians who play stringed instruments,  i.e. banjo, guitar, fiddle, mandolin, dobro and bass, and who have an interest in playing traditional and recent American fiddle tunes, old-time Appalachian repertoire, bluegrass and bygone country standards. From 1 to 4 p.m.


TUESDAY, NOV. 18

“Ratatouille.” Jacob Burns Film Center, Disney Pixar’s 2008 Oscar winner about a humble rat living in the French countryside named Remy who dreams of one day making food in a Paris restaurant. Afterwards enjoy a tasting menu in partnership with Pubstreet; 7 p.m.

Nightclub Concert: Susan Said. Lewisboro Library, 15 Main St., South Salem; lewisborolibrary.org. A popular local favorite, the band has toured the world and released four albums. This event is a benefit for the Lewisboro Library. From 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.


Westchester Oratorio Society. Presbyterian Church of Mount Kisco, 605 Millwood Road, Mount Kisco; westchesteroratorio.org. “Sure on This Shining Night”; 7:30 p.m.

The Arcadian Wild. Caramoor, 149 Girdle Ridge Road, Katonah; caramoor.org. The Nashville-based ensemble is known for their intricate acoustic sound, blending progressive folk, bluegrass and choral harmonies; 7:30 p.m.

PARKS

Croton Gorge Park. 35 Yorktown Road, Croton-on-Hudson; parks.westchestergov.com. The 97-acre park at the base of the New Croton Dam is open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.


Croton Point Park. 1 Croton Point Ave., Croton-on-Hudson; parks.westchestergov.com. The 508-acre park situated on a peninsula on the east shore of the Hudson River is open seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.


John Jay Homestead. 400 Jay St., Katonah; johnjayhomestead.org. Visitors may explore the 62-acre park and seven gardens. Open daily, sunrise to sunset.


Teatown Lake Reservation. 1600 Spring Valley Road, Ossining; teatown.org. The trails on the 1,000-acre nature preserve and education center are open daily, dawn to dusk. Dogs on leash are allowed.


Ward Pound Ridge Reservation. 6 Reservation Road, Cross River; friendsoftrailside.org. The 4,315-acre park has varied terrain with miles of wooded trails. The Trailside Nature Museum is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesdays-Saturdays.


Westmoreland Sanctuary. 260 Chestnut Ridge Road, Mount Kisco; westmorelandsanctuary.org. A 640-acre nature preserve with 7.5 miles of hiking trails. The preserve and Nature Center are free and open to the public seven days a week.
