The Recorder's TV ad recently aired on News12 Westchester. Our Newspaper

With overwhelming support from area residents and businesses who were left without a local paper, The Recorder launched on June 1, 2024 as an online publication, and then as a printed newspaper on September 13, 2024. Our readership is growing daily as word spreads about our nonprofit, independent, high-quality publication. Our current print circulation is more than 1,900 households with an estimated 4,250 total readers. (Updated January 2025). Full access to our website, online newspaper and weekly newsletters are included for subscribers. Most importantly, our readership is 100% paid — an indication that our readers both want and value The Recorder. 

 

Our Reach
Coverage area for The Recorder includes the Northern Westchester towns of Bedford, Lewisboro, Pound Ridge and Mount Kisco. Hamlets within these towns include Bedford, Bedford Hills, Bedford Village, Cross River, Goldens Bridge, Katonah, Pound Ridge, Scotts Corners, Lewisboro, South Salem, Vista and Waccabuc. The Recorder is published every Friday (50x per year) and is delivered by first class US Postal Service to more than 1,900 households. Our website which boasts more than 6,500 monthly site visits, is updated several times a week with fresh stories, breaking news and advertising. No other source in print or online provides more thorough coverage of local government, schools, sports, arts and business.
