Mount Kisco Police Report June 6-11

Friday, June 6

5:03 p.m. — A resident of Somers, female, 19,  was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, on a complaint from store security at Target on North Bedford Road. The woman is accused of leaving the store without paying for $146 worth of merchandise in her possession. She was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a June 26 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court. 

5:40 p.m. — A resident of South Salem, female, 38, was charged with petty larceny, a misdemeanor, on a complaint from store security at Target on North Bedford Road. The woman is accused of failing to scan some items as she used the self-checkout system. She left the store with $170 worth of merchandise she had not paid for and was detained. She was booked at the Green Street precinct and released pending a June 26 appearance in Mount Kisco Justice Court. 

6:01 p.m. —  An officer assisted a 41-year-old Pound Ridge woman at Leonard Park after she reported having difficulty breathing. She was taken to the hospital by the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps.


Saturday, June 7

12:55 p.m.— An officer was dispatched to Green Street to take a report regarding a hit-and-run incident that occurred the previous day. A vehicle owner reported that his car was damaged while it was parked near Stop & Shop on North Bedford Road. The man provided the license plate of a vehicle he believes struck his car and left the scene. The matter was turned over to a detective for continued investigation.

7:39 p.m. — A person used the callbox at the Green Street precinct to report that she was unable to find her car at the train station and believes it was stolen. An officer returned to the precinct to take a report while another canvassed the lot. The vehicle was located and the owner was advised where it was parked. 


Sunday, June 8

10:34 a.m. — There was a report of a disturbance at an East Main Street gas station. Upon arrival, an officer was told that a young man became hostile toward staff when he attempted to purchase an alcoholic beverage and was asked for identification. The customer had left the store when police were called.

5:03 p.m. — A noise complaint was received from a Lexington Avenue woman. She reported that there is regularly loud music and yelling coming from a neighboring business on weekends. The officer took a report and provided the woman with information on how to contact the village’s code enforcement officer. 


Monday, June 9

4:34 p.m. — There was a report of a disorderly patron at Target on North Bedford Road. An officer escorted the man from the store and determined there was a misdemeanor warrant for his arrest in Orange County. The local police department there declined to pick him up and requested that the officer advise the man to turn himself in.

6:07 p.m. — An officer responded to a North Bedford Road health club on a report of a person not feeling well. The health club client declined any medical attention.

8:03 p.m. — Report of two men carrying another man and putting him into a vehicle on North Moger Avenue. The caller was unable to provide a detailed description of the men or the vehicle. An officer canvassed the block but was unable to locate any video capturing the incident. A witness was found who said he believed the two men were possibly taking an intoxicated man to the hospital. Northern Westchester Hospital staff advised that no intoxicated person had been brought to their facility. 


Tuesday, June 10

6:40 a.m. — An officer responded to High Street to assist a woman who reported that she was bleeding excessively as a result of a medical procedure she had the previous day. Westchester EMS also responded to provide care and took the woman to Northern Westchester Hospital. 


Wednesday, June 11

12:23 a.m. — An officer responded to an East Main Street gas station on a report of a dispute between a customer and employee over change given following a lottery ticket purchase. The officer was able to resolve the dispute to both parties’ satisfaction.

11 a.m. — An officer responded to the Green Street precinct to take a report regarding a hit-and-run property damage incident that occurred the night before. A village resident reported that his vehicle was damaged while it was parked at the health club on Kensico Drive between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m. The officer took photos of damage to the vehicle and went to the health club to seek any video that might have captured the incident. An investigation is continuing.
