Mount Kisco is preparing for a three-day party next weekend that promises to outdo the six previous versions of the event.

The village’s Chamber of Commerce is ready to roll out the welcome mat to residents and visitors for SeptemberFest 2025, working with more than 100 businesses and organizations to have a memorable time. SeptemberFest will take place in the heart of Mount Kisco’s downtown starting late next Friday afternoon, and extending through Saturday and Sunday.

“I think what it does is actually celebrate Mount Kisco,” said Beth Vetare-Civitello, the Chamber of Commerce’s co-executive director. “I think that it shows off our diverse shops and eateries and that there is an energy and that we are, let’s call it, open for business here and that we are very welcoming. I think it does shine a light on Mount Kisco in the best way.”

The festivities begin Sept. 12 at 5 p.m., with a vast array of carnival rides in the Shoppers Park parking lot. There will also be great food and live entertainment throughout the evening. The carnival rides and fun and games will continue throughout the weekend starting Saturday and Sunday at noon.

On Saturday, there will be the Street Fair and Pop-Up Market with dozens of vendors offering their products and services along South Moger Avenue. The street fair and market, which will start at 10 a.m., will also feature a food court with great food to sample.

Vetare-Civitello said there are several exciting additions to this year’s schedule. One of those attractions at the street fair is Fashion Alley, where several businesses in town have partnered to have a designated area for fashion.

A second new feature is the Bedford-based The Golden Project, where visitors will be able to fill out the paperwork to start the process of adopting a dog.

The Mount Kisco Arts Council will be hosting art in the park near the brook behind the library. Council members will have tents where they will be exhibiting their artwork.

Football fans won’t have to choose between watching games and attending SeptemberFest. On Sunday the chamber is introducing Sunday Football Funday, where four NFL games will be livestreamed on oversized screens under the Hospitality Tent. That follows the Mount Kisco Fire Department 5K.

For visitors driving to Mount Kisco, there will be parking in the North Moger and South Moger and Blackeby lots as well as street parking that are all within a reasonable walking distance to the activities, Vetare-Civitello said.
