Thanksgiving Open & Closed

Thursday, Nov. 27, is Thanksgiving, a federal and state holiday. Most government offices will be closed. Many government offices also will be closed the following day, Friday, Nov. 28.
Mail service: Postal service facilities will be closed for retail transactions on Thanksgiving Day. There will be no residential or business deliveries. Priority Mail Express will be delivered. Normal operations resume Friday, Nov. 28.
Metro-North: On Wednesday, Nov. 26, Metro-North will run on a Friday schedule with extra early afternoon outbound trains and connecting ferries. Thanksgiving Day will have a special schedule with extra morning service for paradegoers and reduced afternoon/evening service. Friday, Nov. 28, the railroad will operate on a Saturday schedule with additional rush hour trains.
Libraries: All town of Bedford libraries will be closed Thursday, Nov. 27, reopening on Friday, Nov. 28. Lewisboro Library will also be closed Thursday, reopening on Friday. Mount Kisco Public Library will be closed Thursday and Friday, reopening Saturday, Nov. 29. The Pound Ridge Library will be closed Thursday, reopening on Friday.
Bedford: Town Hall and government offices will be closed Nov. 27 and 28.
Lewisboro: The Town House and government offices will be closed Nov. 27 and 28.
Mount Kisco: Village Hall and government offices will be closed Nov. 27 and 28.
Pound Ridge: Town Hall and government offices will be closed Nov. 27 and 28. The recycling center is closed Saturday.
