Pound Ridge Police Reports Feb. 20-23

Thursday, Feb. 20

1:45 p.m. — A caller on Westchester Avenue told police about a series of suspicious phone calls they’d received that they found unsettling. A report was made for documentation.   

3:40 p.m. — A domestic incident was reported on Highview Road. No further information was provided. 

6:00 p.m. — A male, age and condition unknown, was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by Westchester EMS.  


Friday, Feb. 21

9:45 a.m. — A driver traveling on Old Mill River Road was issued a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign. 

9:57 a.m. — A tow was called for a driver traveling on Salem Road whose vehicle became disabled. After the tow arrived the driver was able to drive their car away.  

11:18 a.m. — A two-car collision was reported on Westchester Avenue. Police said no one was injured and neither vehicle required a tow.  

11:18 a.m. — A male, age and condition unknown, was taken by Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Norwalk Hospital.  


Saturday, Feb. 22

10:00 a.m. — Police and fire personnel went to a residence on Hoyt Road for a reported propane tank leak. The tank was disconnected and the homeowner was advised to call for service.  


Sunday, Feb 23

7:22 p.m. — A caller on Westchester Avenue reported hearing shots fired. Police searching the area said all was quiet.
