Tuesday, May 13
9:55 a.m. — Police responded to a complaint about a loose dog on Kitchawan Road. The dog was not located.
10:27 a.m. — Two drivers received summonses for violations on Westchester Avenue: one without a current inspection sticker; and the other for an unregistered vehicle.
1:30 p.m. — A two-car collision on Westchester Avenue resulted in no injuries. One car was towed.
4:45 p.m. — A driver was issued a ticket on Westchester Avenue for having no current inspection sticker.
6:00 p.m. — Two speeders were issued tickets for traveling approximately 20 mph over the speed limit on Westchester Avenue.
Wednesday, May 14
9:40 a.m. — Police responded to a complaint about a barking dog on South Bedford Road. The officer did not hear or see the dog. The dog control officer will follow up.
2:55 p.m. — A two-car collision on Salem Road resulted in no injuries. One car was towed.
9:39 p.m. — A collision reported on Kitchawan Road resulted in one car being towed. No injuries were reported.
10:20 p.m. — A tree reported blocking the roadway on Upper Shad Road was referred to the highway department for removal.
Thursday, May 15
10:56 a.m. — A female, age and condition unknown, was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by Westchester EMS.
1:20 p.m. — A Westchester Avenue resident reported a suspicious phone call they received from a person pretending to be both a police officer and an Amazon employee. A report was made for documentation.
3:22 p.m. — A White Birch Road resident walked into headquarters to report three fraudulent transactions on their Key Bank account. The account was closed and a report was made for documentation.
6:21 p.m. — A summons was issued to a driver traveling on Salem Road for driving 20 mph over the speed limit.
8:45 p.m. — A summons was issued to a driver traveling 60 mph in a marked 30 mph portion of Westchester Avenue.
Friday, May 16
6:43 a.m. — A man who originally requested medical assistance turned it down when the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps arrived.
10:45 a.m. — Two summonses were issued to drivers on Westchester Avenue: one for speeding; and one for having an unregistered vehicle on the road.
6:30 p.m. — A person, age and gender not reported, was given a lift assist at their home in Pound Ridge by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps staffers. No further attention was requested.
Saturday, May 17
1:30 p.m. — A male, age and condition not reported, was taken to Norwalk Hospital by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
2:10 p.m. — Police say a noise complaint regarding gas leaf blowers on Parkview Road was unfounded.
6:50 p.m. — One driver on Westchester Avenue was issued a summons for not having a valid inspection sticker.
Sunday, May 18
7:30 p.m. — A driver traveling on High Ridge Road was issued a ticket for speeding 68 mph in a 40-mph zone.
Monday, May 19
6:59 a.m. — Police issued a driver five summonses on Westchester Avenue: unlicensed operation, unregistered vehicle, improper plates, no insurance and a cracked windshield. The car was towed.
Tuesday, May 20
7:27 a.m. — Trees were reported on wires on Gorge Lane. Police taped off the area and notified the two utilities.
9:20 a.m. — Five summonses were issued to drivers traveling on Long Ridge Road, all of them for using their cellphones.
12:18 p.m. — A loiterer was reported on Pound Ridge Road. No further information was provided.
12:56 p.m. — A loose dog reported on Indian Hill Road was safely collected and returned to its owner.
4:20 p.m. — A domestic incident was reported on High Ridge Road. No further information was provided.
Wednesday, May 21
10:00 a.m. — A caller on Dann Farm Road reported their neighbor using a gas-powered leaf blower, in violation of local ordinance. Police arrived and said the landscaping crew cited was no longer there. They had a conversation with the homeowner about the issue instead.
11:18 a.m. — Police went to a residence on Kinnicutt Road after a caller reported their neighbor was using gas-powered leaf blowers. An officer spoke with the leader of the landscaping crew who said he was aware of the local ordinance and wasn’t using any gas powered blowers.
2:00 p.m. — A Pheasant Road West caller reported their neighbor was in violation of local ordinances using a gas-powered leaf blower. Police spoke with the landscaper who denied breaking any rules.
3:00 p.m. — Police went to a home on High Ridge Road for a reported domestic incident. No further information was provided.
Thursday, May 22
12:39 a.m. — A woman was taken via Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Norwalk Hospital. No further information was provided.
8:05 a.m. — Two cars involved in a collision on Westchester Avenue were towed from the scene. There were no injuries reported.
1:00 p.m. — A caller reported cars racing repeatedly on Route 124. Police checked the area with negative results.
1:00 p.m. — Police responded to a one-car collision on Westchester Avenue. The car did not require a tow and no one was injured.
Friday, May 23
8:25 a.m. — Two summonses were issued to drivers during a traffic detail on Westchester Avenue: one was for no inspection sticker; and the other for improper plates.

Saturday, May 24
9:50 a.m. — A male, age and condition unknown, was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
9:40 p.m. — A male, age and condition unknown, was transported from his home to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Sunday, May 25
8:16 a.m. — Cars were reported racing on Salem Road. Police searched for the vehicles with negative results.
10:40 a.m. — A dog was reported off leash by a caller on Barnegat Road. Police spoke with the owner who denied that allegation and said the dog was leashed. The dog control officer was notified about the complaint.
11:54 a.m. — A male, age and condition unknown, was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
5:00 p.m. — No violations were observed by police conducting a radar patrol on Westchester Avenue.
Monday, May 26
5:30 p.m. — Police went to a residence on Kinnicutt Road regarding a noise complaint. They spoke to landscapers working at the address who said they were just finishing up for the day.
9:15 p.m. — Police went to Salem Road after shots were reported. They looked and listened and said they heard nothing.
10:30 p.m. — A loud party was reported at a residence on Pine Brook Road. Police went to the address and spoke with the homeowner who was throwing a Memorial Day party; police said it wasn’t loud. The homeowner said he would turn the music down in deference to their neighbor.
Tuesday, May 27
7:45 a.m. — Construction workers who started work 15 minutes earlier than the official start time were advised that a neighbor complained about noise at a residence on Honey Hollow Road.
