Tuesday, Nov. 4
11:30 a.m. — A driver on Westchester Avenue was given a summons for failure to stop at a stop sign.
12:34 p.m. — The utility was notified about live wires on the roadway on Bayberry Way.
3:05 p.m. — A man was taken by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital. No further information was provided.
6:08 p.m. — A car versus deer incident on Parkview resulted in no tow and no injuries.
6:30 p.m. — A motorist on Parkview was given a ticket for disobeying a traffic device.
10:45 p.m. — A man was transported to Northern Westchester Hospital by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. No further information was provided.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
6:38 a.m. — The highway department was notified of a tree limb in the roadway on Indian Hill Road.
9:06 a.m. — The utility was notified of a tree down with wires on Fancher Road.
12:34 p.m. — A driver who failed to stop for a stop sign was ticketed on Salem Road.
7:22 p.m. — A driver on Westchester Avenue was given a ticket for disobeying a traffic device.
8:53 p.m. — A driver was stopped and ticketed on Westchester Avenue for no stop lamps.
Thursday, Nov. 6
12:10 a.m. — Nothing was observed out of order at a residence on Dann Farm Road after a burglar alarm was activated.
9:45 a.m. — A postal truck that became disabled on Westchester Avenue was soon assisted by a mechanic who got it back up and running.
5:30 p.m. — A commercial vehicle was issued a ticket for reflective rear windows, a violation.
5:00 p.m. — Five summonses were issued to drivers on Highview Road including invalid insurance and failure to obey a traffic device.
6:21 p.m. — A man was taken by Bedford firefighters to Northern Westchester Hospital.
Friday, Nov. 7
8:07 a.m. — A man taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. No further information was provided.
9:25 a.m. — A woman was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. No further information was provided.
4:25 p.m. — The utility was notified of wires down on Shad Road West.
7:00 p.m. — A car versus deer incident on Westchester Avenue resulted in no tow and no injuries.
7:03 p.m. — No injuries were reported when a car struck a deer on Route 137.
7:54 p.m. — A parked, unoccupied car was reported hit on Route 137. There were no witnesses and no cameras. A report was made for documentation.
10:30 p.m. — A driver on Westchester Avenue was given a speeding ticket.
Saturday, Nov. 8
10:30 a.m. — A man was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by the Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. No further information was provided.
10:40 p.m. — Three summonses were issued to drivers on Salem Road: one for failure to stop at a stop sign; one for no registration; and the third was for no inspection.
10:00 p.m. — Two drivers were given speeding tickets on Westchester Avenue.

11:07 a.m. — A woman was taken by Vista ambulance to Northern Westchester Hospital. No further information was provided.
2:30 p.m. — A radar detail on Westchester yielded no violations.
3:45 p.m. — A man was taken to Stamford Hospital by Pound Ridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps. No further information was provided.
7:15 a.m. — A driver was given a ticket on Westchester Avenue for disregarding a stop sign.
Monday, Nov. 10
7:38 a.m. — A driver traveling on Westchester Avenue was issued a speeding ticket for going 61 mph in a 30-mph zone.
BEDFORD
Teens accused of Rice Krispie Treats theft
On Thursday, Nov. 6, at 1 p.m., a male, 18, from Pound Ridge, turned himself in to police to be charged with petty larceny. He and a female, 17, from Carmel, were reported stealing protein bars and Rice Krispies Treats from a gas station on Bedford Road, Katonah, on Oct. 7. He was processed and released and is to appear Nov. 19 in Bedford court. His friend turned herself in Nov. 7; she was also charged with petty larceny. Because she is a minor, she will be in family court in White Plains at an unknown date.
DWI charge follows crash
On Saturday, Nov. 8, at 1:24 a.m., a male, 21, from Mount Kisco, was arrested on McLain Street, charged with driving while intoxicated. Police said he crashed his car into a pole and was found breathing but not conscious inside the vehicle. On police arrival he was awake but incoherent; he had a strong smell of alcohol on him and was unable to maintain his balance, police said. He made several self-incriminating remarks to an officer. Field sobriety tests were not administered as he was unable to stand. He was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital by the Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps in the company of an officer who issued him multiple summonses. He was left in the care of hospital staff and is to appear in court Nov. 19.
Monday, Nov. 3
8:25 a.m. — Police attempted to contact a Bedford Hills woman whose Kia Sportage was found in Camden, N.J., minus its ignition. They were alerted to this situation by Camden Police. It is unknown if she reported the car missing. Contact was not made but a message was left.
1:56 p.m. — A black-and-white border collie reported wandering on Guard Hill Road near Succabone Road was back with its owner prior to police response.
3:05 p.m. — The dog control officer reported a cat bite in Katonah after a girl, 8, was bitten by a possibly feral black cat two days earlier. The child received treatment at the emergency room and was given a rabies vaccine as a precaution; the health department was notified. The child’s mother was told to call the police if she saw the cat in the area.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
7:34 p.m. — A Goldens Bridge man wanted to report that earlier in the day, while in Katonah, he was struck as a pedestrian by one of two cars involved in a collision. He said he was struck on the sidewalk and as he was late for a meeting didn’t stick around to report his involvement. He said he had some pain but didn’t request treatment and only wanted a report to be made for documentation.
11:33 p.m. — A woman came to headquarters looking for her brother who is homeless and sometimes stays in a local church. She said he has no cellphone and possibly had left the country. Police didn’t know where he was and took her report for documentation.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
8:45 a.m. — Bedford police participated in a three-day search for a missing person in a very old but still open case. A drone and the UTV were utilized to assist a New York State Police dive team working in the quarry area in the woods behind Crusher Road. Nothing of significance was found.
4:47 p.m. — A man in a white van with Connecticut plates was reported pouring something in the roadway on Harris Road near Railroad Avenue, Bedford Hills. The caller thought he was dumping sawdust to clean up an illegal spill. Police on arrival saw nothing suspicious and no evidence of a spill.
Thursday Nov. 6
7:15 a.m. — A Pound Ridge woman driving on Jay Street near Beaver Dam Road told police that due to sun glare she did not see tree debris lying in the roadway. She wasn’t injured and her car wasn’t towed.
9:03 a.m. — Police assisted state police again working on the missing person case with their UTV and drones.
Friday Nov. 7
9:23 a.m. — A raccoon reported sick and hanging around the stairs of a commercial building on South Bedford Road, Bedford Hills, was located by police in the parking lot. An officer watched it walking normally into the woods and let it go.
4:33 p.m. — A three-car collision occurred in Katonah in the vicinity of Lot 3 and Woods Bridge Road. One car was pulling out, another was pulling in; the third car which was traveling straight was hit by one of the cars pulling out of the lot. That person, a female, 35, from Mahopac,was taken by Katonah Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital complaining of pain to her pelvis. No citations were given. Two cars were towed.
Saturday Nov. 8
1:12 p.m. — A Bronx woman requested police assistance with retrieving her iPhone 16 Pro which she said was misplaced at Yonkers Raceway. She said it pinged to an address on Nottingham Road, Bedford Hills. Police contacted the residents without success. The woman said she would try again later.
7:30 p.m. — Police went to the parking lot of a church on Bedford Center Road, Bedford Hills, after a man inside said he was reluctant to leave the building with his kids because he was concerned about an SUV idling. Police spoke to the man inside the car who said he was waiting for the church to open as it is occasionally used as shelter. The complainant confirmed the doors would be opening soon. Police said there was no problem.
Sunday, Nov. 9
4:41 p.m. — A caller on Millertown Road, Bedford, reported a suspicious silver van idling outside her residence. She called back to say police assistance wasn’t needed because she went outside and spoke to the driver herself. She said he was lost and just needed directions.
LEWISBORO
Monday, Nov. 3
7:35 a.m. — A vehicle was impounded following a traffic stop on Ridgefield Avenue, South Salem, for violating a traffic control device. The driver was found to have no license although the car registration was valid. The operator was issued two summonses and the car was towed.
4:45 p.m. — Police went to Lower Salem Road, South Salem, for a harassment complaint regarding one neighbor’s assumption their neighbor’s outdoor lighting is too bright. “Not nice” notes were left. Police attempted to speak to an older woman who wouldn’t come out of her house but conveyed through a closed door she had nothing to say. The officer warned her to stay off her neighbor’s property.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
8:00 a.m. — A Katonah man reported being harassed by a neighbor while in his own driveway. He told police the other party said, “You won’t be around for long, I know that,” which he considered a threat. Police attempted to speak to the other party without result.
5:43 p.m. — Police went to the Metro-North train station in Goldens Bridge for a report of a man lying down near the stairs who appeared disoriented. EMS arrived and determined him to be highly intoxicated. His mother was contacted and sent her boyfriend to pick him up. No further action was taken.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
4:17 p.m. — Police were alerted to a white Ford Econoline van traveling on Route 138 in the vicinity of North Street; there was an active warrant for the arrest of the driver from another agency for dangerous drugs. A traffic stop was conducted at Route 121 and Schoolhouse Road. The operator, who identified himself as the wanted man, was detained in a Lewisboro police vehicle until the agency that wanted him arrived and took him into their custody. Located inside the vehicle were eight uncapped needles and 30 capped needles containing an unknown substance. Due to the condition of the interior of the vehicle, it was unsafe for the dog to search it.
Thursday, Nov. 6
3:00 p.m. — A civil dispute reported at the Subway sandwich shop in the Goldens Bridge supermarket plaza was settled prior to police arrival.
7:30 p.m. — A wallet turned in to police by a good citizen who found it on Main Street was reunited with its owner, a South Salem resident. Police said the wallet contained her checkbook, passport and money orders. All were returned safely.
Friday, Nov. 7
3:21 p.m. — Police went to the Increase Miller Elementary School after a dad was reported intoxicated while picking up his child. Police informed him he would not be driving and gave the father and child a courtesy ride home. Child protective services were notified and said they would be checking on the family that evening.
7:15 p.m. — A car versus deer incident on Todd Road in Katonah resulted in minor damage to the car. The deer ran off.
Sunday, Nov. 9
10:16 a.m. — Workers framing a new house on Cross Pond Road were informed they were violating a town code about construction work on Sundays. The foreman said he was unaware and that they would stop working immediately.
11:20 a.m. — A driver who told police her brakes failed while she was backing out of her driveway rolled across Waccabuc River Lane through a neighbor’s fence where she then struck two trees. She was taken to Northern Westchester Hospital for back pain.
MOUNT KISCO
Saturday, Nov. 1
4:43 a.m. — Officers responded to an Amuso Drive residence on a report of a man yelling for help from inside an apartment. A man that officers located outside the apartment at that location told police he had been in a verbal dispute with his stepson who had threatened to punch him. The man did not wish to pursue charges and said he would leave the residence for the night to calm the situation. A New York state domestic incident report was prepared.
Sunday, Nov. 2
1:43 a.m. — An officer on patrol observed a man urinating on South Moger Avenue opposite Britton Lane. The man fled when the officer approached but was detained after a brief chase on foot. The 27-year-old Lexington Avenue man was issued a summons for public urination. He is to answer the charge Dec. 4 in Mount Kisco Justice Court.
3:29 a.m. — Police investigated a report of a person causing a disturbance at a gas station on North Bedford Road. The condition was corrected.
9:31 a.m. — Officers responded to Foxwood Circle on a report of a man in emotional crisis. He agreed to go to Northern Westchester Hospital for evaluation and was taken by Westchester EMS.
Monday, Nov. 3
10:31 a.m. — An officer responded to St. Marks Place to assist a woman with chest pain. The Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps also responded and took her to Northern Westchester Hospital.
12:49 p.m. — Police received a report of a dog being walked on a leash that was bitten by another dog that had gotten away from its owner. Both dogs and their owners were present upon an officer’s arrival. The owner of the dog that was bitten asked for a report to be prepared and said she was taking her dog to the vet to be checked.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
1:42 a.m. — Police received a report of a man in his 60s suffering from abdominal pain and an altered mental status. He was taken to a hospital by Westchester EMS.
11:56 a.m. — A woman arrived at the Green Street precinct to report that various “spiritual leaders” were trying to kill her and she asked to speak to the FBI and Interpol. The Mobile Crisis Response Team was requested to assist with the matter. The woman was taken by the Mount Kisco Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Northern Westchester Hospital for evaluation.
11:57 a.m. — An officer responded to a North Bedford Road business on a report of an irate patron who was refusing to leave the premises. The woman told the officer she was charged twice for a service and the business would not rectify the situation. She was advised that the dispute was a civil matter to be resolved in court and voluntarily left the premises.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
12:50 p.m. — Police received a report of a larceny of used cooking oil from a business on Main Street. The owner was unsure precisely when the theft occurred and had discovered the oil missing a short time earlier.
Thursday, Nov. 6
11:39 a.m. — A 52-year-old Pennsylvania man was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony, after a traffic stop on North Moger Avenue. Police said an officer observed the man’s pickup truck traveling on Carpenter Avenue and recognized it as a vehicle identified earlier by Westchester County Police for suspected involvement in drug activity. The officer kept the vehicle in sight as it traveled on Quaker Hill Street and North Moger Avenue, and made the traffic stop after observing a traffic violation. A narcotics detection canine was brought to the scene and it indicated the presence of narcotics. The suspect was brought to Westchester County police headquarters where 39 grams of crack cocaine were found hidden in his groin area, police said. He was arraigned in Mount Kisco Justice Court and remanded to the county jail in lieu of bail.
