The Bedford 2030 Community Climate Conversation will show the award-winning film “Plastic People” Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m., at the Bedford Playhouse, followed by a discussion.

State Sen. Pete Harckham, a leader in the fight against plastic pollution, will share how people can make a difference, including advocating for powerful legislation to hold polluters accountable.

Organizers say that virtually every molecule of plastic ever created still exists somewhere on Earth. “It’s in our air, our water, and even in our bodies. These microscopic plastic particles are silently waging a war on our health — and on the future of our planet.”

“Plastic People” investigates the issue and shows the impact of plastic pollution and how people can fight back.
