Fly Paper, fly!

The Lewisboro Parks and Recreation Department hosted its first Paper Airplane Contest on Feb. 28. The event was inspired by an idea pitched by 9-year-old Aiden Kimparker-Kriger. Three divisions competed (Pre-K through first grade; second-fifth; sixth grade-adults) in three categories: distance, accuracy and creativity. Participants created their paper planes and then Michael Portnoy from Parks & Rec led everyone through the different phases of the competition.
