It was a memorable season across the playing fields at Fox Lane as every team provided highlights and victories, especially for the girls teams with a number of seniors leading the way setting milestones to finish off their careers with the Foxes.
In girls lacrosse, flag football, softball, and track and field, the girls shined to provide a lot of victories and titles for Fox Lane.

Girls Lacrosse
Once again it was another great season for the Fox Lane girls lacrosse program as the Foxes rolled through the regular season with a 16-1 record. The Foxes earned the No. 2 seed in the Section 1 Class B tournament where they cruised in the first round before falling in the semifinals to finish at 17-2 overall.
Leading the way were senior stars Cora Moore and Michaela Kaltsas as they both recorded milestones to cap off their amazing varsity careers. Kaltsas broke the 300-point milestone to finish her five-year varsity career as she moves on to compete at Williams College next year. Moore broke the 200-point milestone and dominated on face offs as she moves on to compete at the Division 1 level at Jacksonville College next year.
Both Moore and Kaltsas earned first team All-Section honors, along with junior Dylan New as she recorded her 100th career point. Second team All-Section honors went to Madyson Greene and freshman Taylor Webb as she also recorded her 100th career point. Isabel Valenzuela, Olyvia Wong, Molly Rodriguez, and Phoebe Fisher, also earned All-League honors for the Foxes.
Flag football
It was an amazing season for the Fox Lane flag football team in just its second year as a varsity program. The Foxes finished 12-5-1 overall and were second in the league standings, earning their first-ever playoff victory in the Section 1 Class B tournament before falling in the quarterfinals.

Senior quarterback Riley New led the way as she earned All-Section and All-League honors. Senior Amanda Mazzuca earned All-League honors to cap off her career at Fox Lane as a three-sport athlete after setting the school record for goals scored in soccer in the fall. Senior three-sport athlete Lily Rosenthal also earned All-League honors, and Bryhana Madrunero led the team in flag pulls on defense as she also earned All-League honors.
The Foxes were able to accomplish their success despite losing senior Morgan Clinton to an injury in the first game after she had earned All-Section honors last year.
Baseball
One year after winning a Section 1 title and advancing to the state championship game, Fox Lane baseball was hit hard graduating 11 seniors from that title team. The Foxes got off to a rough start at 0-6, but they turned it around for another strong season, the diamond finishing at 9-10 during the regular season.
The Foxes won their first round game in the Section 1 Class AA tournament before falling in the quarterfinals to finish at 10-11 overall.

Senior pitcher Frank Salvatorelli led the way on the mound as he earned HM All-Section and All-League honors. Junior first baseman Andrew Brauning led the way at the plate as he also earned HM All-Section and All-League honors. Sean Singleton and C.J. Simone both earned All-League honors, while J.J. Lombardo was named League comeback player of the year.
Softball
It was one close game after another for the Fox Lane softball team against several of the best teams in Section 1 as the Foxes battled all season long into the playoffs, falling in a heartbreaking one-run defeat in the Class AA quarterfinals to finish at 9-11 overall.
Pitcher Sofia Rodriguez did her part as she earned All-Section and All-League honors as she recorded her 500th career strikeout on the mound for the Foxes.
Sammi Saldutti and Sofia Valente each earned HM All-Section and All-League honors, while Jojo Kerwar, Nora Antonaccio and Avery Genovese each earned All-League honors.
Boys lacrosse
The Fox Lane boys lacrosse team also enjoyed a season with a playoff victory as the Foxes were 5-9 during the regular season and then won a home playoff game before falling in the Section 1 Class A tournament quarterfinals to top-seed Yorktown.
All-League honors were earned by senior captain Will Broghammer, Ryan Hardie, Drew Nathan, Leo Crisostomo Garcia, and junior goalie Luke Valenti.
The Foxes also enjoyed success on the tennis courts, the golf course, and in track and field.
It was a winning season for Fox Lane on the tennis courts as the Foxes won their league championship and earned a chance to compete in the Section 1 team tournament.
Mark Chen, Ryan Barone, Addison Townley and Curtis McConnell all earned All-League honors for their efforts on the court leading the Foxes to the league title.
In golf, Hank Hearon and Calvin Metzger both earned All-League honors and qualified to compete in the Section 1 tournament. Senior Jack Yaggi suffered a late season injury that kept him out of the post season after qualifying the last two seasons.
Fox Lane crowned a sectional champion in track and field as freshman Gabriella Ransom won the Section 1 Class A title in the shot put to earn All-Section honors. Jillian Kurchack earned All-League honors.
For the boys track and field team Jacques Desforges earned All-League honors, while senior Santo Cutri set a new school record in the hammer throw.
