The Pound Ridge Fire District plans two more public information sessions in advance of public vote on an additional $3.5 million bond for the firehouse expansion and update.

The public already had approved $6.5 million toward what had been expected to be a $7.75 million project  in December 2022. The rest of the money was to come from the department’s reserve.

The remaining public information sessions, where people can ask questions about the project, are planned at the Pound Ridge Firehouse, located at 80 Westchester Ave., Pound Ridge:

— Friday, April 4, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

— Sunday, April 6, from noon to 1 p.m.

The vote is to take place Tuesday,  April 8,  from 3 to 9 p.m.
