Women arrested after alleged harassment

On Friday, April 25, at 1-:30 p.m., a resident of White Plains, female, 47, was arrested at police headquarters on allegations she stalked and harassed a Bedford resident for nearly a decade. She was charged with failure to appear in court for prior convictions. Her alleged victim came to headquarters after he saw her driving past his home several times that day. He said she followed him and pursued him, attempting to have a conversation after he and his girlfriend were out for dinner. He told police she pursued him in her vehicle and he drove to the police station to make a report; soon after, she followed him inside the building where police arrested her. She was seen by a judge and remanded to the county jail after she was unable to make a $975 bail. She was expected to appear in court April 30.

Youth arrested

On Wednesday, April 23, at 4:08 p.m., a juvenile male from Bedford was arrested at the Fox Lane High School administration building, charged with violent behavior. The day before, school security reported to police a physical fight between two male students on school property after school hours. Police say the two have a history of disliking each other. No injuries were reported and the nature of the argument was not reported. Only one boy was arrested and was released to a third-party guardian. Disciplinary actions for the combatants have been left up to school authorities. The arrested youth was to appear in juvenile court in White Plains on April 29.
