William Stafford Waller II, 70, of Vista

William Stafford Waller II, 70, of Vista, died Nov. 8.

He was born Jan. 23, 1955, to Frances and Frank Waller. He graduated from John Jay High School in 1973 and went on to college where he studied car mechanics. 

His family said he will be remembered as a good guy with a great sense of humor and a deep love for family. 

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Barbara; his sons, David and Bryan; his daughter, Amanda; and many grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons, Danny and Billy. 

A service will be held at Lillis Funeral Home, located at 58 Bridge St., New Milford, Conn., on Sunday, Nov. 16, from 3 to 5 p.m.
