The town board Tuesday held its annual reorganization meeting and appointed a full slate of members to various town bodies.
With the exception of a couple of abstentions, the votes were unanimous. And while some new names were mentioned, and those of people who might want to step down, the list was approved as presented.
During the regular meeting, a new staffer was hired and a task force created:
— Recreation Department; request to approve the hiring of Camille Prisco as part-time recreation assistant, effective Jan. 8, 2025.
— Energy Action Committee; request to adopt Climate Smart Community Task Force Resolution and appoint Nicole Shaffer as coordinator.
The town board also took action on boards, commissions and committees:
— Board of Assessment Review: reappoint Peter Marchetti for a 5-year term.
— Board of Ethics: reappoint Jim Glascott, Scott Grumman, Catherine Marino, Sallie Stelter, and Mark Rosenbloom for one-year terms.
