Pamela J. Young, 69, of Mount Kisco

Pamela J. Young of Mount Kisco, died June 5 after a battle with cancer. She was 69. 

Born June 4, 1957, to Philip E. and Dorothy J. Young, she attended Pelham Memorial High School and graduated from Wesley College, now part of the Delaware State University. Her professional career included administrative and customer service po

sitions in health care, pharmaceutical marketing, insurance and food ingredient sales and distribution. She previously also had her own house cleaning business and was a personal companion. Most recently she worked for a local CPA.

Known for her generosity and an ease with making friends, she loved the beach, plants, gardening and going to the New York Botanical Garden. 

She is survived by her mother, of Mount Kisco, and her sister, Wendy C. Young of New Rochelle. She was predeceased by her father.
