Mediation at Waccubuc's Mead Memorial Chapel

The Rev. Dr. Martha Jacobs led the service and Chris Burke played the organ. Jacobs read the poem “Messenger” by Mary Oliver and spoke about being astonished and thankful in our daily lives. The 30-minute meditations are part of an ongoing community series with upcoming services Dec. 21, March 22, April 12, May 17 and June 14. The Mead Memorial Chapel is a historical landmark located at the corner of Mead Street and Chapel Road in Waccabuc. All are welcome.

Planting treasure

Daffodils! Dozens of volunteers signed up with the Lewisboro Garden Club to plant over 3,100 daffodil bulbs at the Lewisboro Town Park on Saturday, Nov. 1. Next spring, the Garden Club will share the 2026 Golden Roads Daffodils Driving Tour so folks can see the nearly 70,000 roadside daffodils planted by volunteers over the past 19 years.
