The Golden’s Bridge Hounds held its annual spring Hunter Pace on Baxter Road, North Salem, on June 14. The course covered approximately 7 miles of open fields and woods, with several jumping options. In spite of the rain, organizers said, there was a very good turnout of riders from Westchester, Dutchess and Putnam counties.

Juneteenth

CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS



Bedford held a Juneteenth celebration on June 19. After a docent-led tour highlighted the 130-year history of Antioch Baptist Church through quilt-making, and a keynote address by Narcita Medina, the celebration moved to the Bedford Hills Community House for live music, dancing and activities for children.

Go Fish! in Pound Ridge

The Pound Ridge Recreation annual fishing event was a great success. All participants caught and released fish. Detective William Patacky joined in on the fun.
