Get to know Bedford supervisor candidates

The Recorder is hosting a conversation between the candidates for Bedford town supervisor.

Incumbent Supervisor Ellen Calves, a Democrat, and challenger Don Scott, a Republican, will respond to questions at the event Tuesday, Oct. 27, from 7 to 8:15 p.m.

Held in Historical Hall, 608 Old Post Road, Bedford Village, the forum will provide an opportunity for residents to hear from both candidates about the local issues that matter to those in all three of the town’s hamlets — and everywhere in between.

Parking will be available across the street, in the front parking lot of St. Patrick’s Church, as well as other public parking spaces.

If you have a question for the candidates, please submit it by Friday, Oct. 23, to BedfordCandidateForum@therecorder.org.

The session will be moderated by Recorder Editorial Director Ed Baum and Senior Reporter Jeff Morris. It will be recorded and available online afterward.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening of meaningful community dialogue.
