Donna Webster Reimer, 92, died May 4 at her home in Waccabuc. She was born Nov. 3, 1933, in Manhattan, to the late Donald and Elizabeth Webster.
Reimer attended the Spence School and graduated from Bennett College in 1955.
She spent her summers in Edgartown, Mass., at her grandfather’s home where she was introduced to Squier Reimer by a friend. In 1957, the two were married at the St. James Church in Manhattan. In 1959, they moved to Bedford. In the late ‘60s, she started her real estate career which, her family said, combined her love for meeting new people and making new friends along the way. Her 47-year career included working at Houlihan Lawrence.
Reimer was active in the community, a member of the Bedford Golf & Tennis Club, Waccabuc Country Club, Rusticus Garden Club, the Community Center of Northern Westchester, and St. Matthew’s Church.
She is survived by two children, Eric Reimer and Dar Barrett, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, May 15, at 11 a.m., at St. Matthew’s Church, located at 382 Cantitoe St., Bedford.
